Discover Saint Petersburg in a whole new way! Take an exciting trip along its rivers and waterways in a kayak!

«KayakSPB - Riverside City Tours» provides a unique opportunity for visitors and residents to see this wonderful place just as Tsar Peter the Great and the city’s great architects intended. The rivers and canals remained the major arteries of the city right up until the end of the 19th century, offering a major means of transport for passengers and goods alike. In fact, the magnificent facades and main entrances of virtually all the grandiose palaces point towards the River Neva and its tributaries and canals. At the very least, you'll see the Winter Palace, Menshikov Palace, Yusupov Palace, Anichkov Palace, Mikhailovsky (Engineers’) Castle, Mikhailovsky Palace (the former home of the Russian Museum). Simply put, the list is endless.

As you walk along the streets and avenues of our glorious city, it's hard to appreciate the true beauty of its architectural wonders. Saint Petersburg is world renowned for being a «Northern Venice», so it's easy to see how it floatly comes into its own only when viewed from the water. Once, these magnificent vistas were enjoyed from rowing boats and sailing ships, but now you can paddle along in kayaks and canoes for a comfortable, safe and fun trip.

The sight of a fleet of multi-colored kayaks and canoes has become an increasingly common occurrence on the River Neva and its canals. It's more than just an intriguing, new way to explore the city for tourists and visitors to the Northern Capital. Our excursions have another important benefit - speed. Just imagine, in the space of just one trip you can see St. Nicholas’, St. Isaac’s, Peter and Paul’s, and the Kazan cathedrals, as well as the Church of the Savior on Blood. What's more, you'll get to photograph the famous Yusupov Palace and touch the anchor chain of the «Aurora» cruiser. You'll glide past the winter grooves cut into the buildings of the Hermitage and fall in love with the quirky Tschischik-Pyschik statue. You'll even get a glimpse into the secret life of the island of New Holland and set yourself down on the beach next to the Peter and Paul Fortress! You won't get access to this beach in any other way, not even on foot, so it's a great privilege to enjoy when you visit Saint Petersburg.

There's a whole range of interesting routes you can take as part of your kayaking trip. All groups are escorted by an experienced and highly knowledgeable instructor and guide. You don't need to possess any special skills to take part and you won't have to train hard in advance, so anyone can enjoy a kayaking trip along the Neva.

Come with us on an entertaining waterside city tour of Saint Petersburg!
