Sergey Kuryokhin Modern Art Center was founded in St.Petersburg in fall 2004. The center is named after an outstanding musician and composer of the late 20th century — Sergey Kuryokhin. The main purpose is to unite talented representatives of the contemporary art performing beyond the pop culture, and to provide an opportunity for presentation of their collective and individual works. The center is deeply involved in promotion of the contemporary art in Russia and abroad, readily supports innovative programs and projects in the contemporary art area, broadens International contacts and cooperation through participation in various large programs and projects.
