The first stationary pantomime and clowning theatre in St. Petersburg

The theatre was founded by director and actor Alexander Plushch-Nezhinsky in 1989, and today he remains its artistic director. “Mimigrants” present an extensive repertoire for children. The actors play with young spectators and turn them into fairytale characters before the performance begins. Adult audience is attracted by performances based on the works of A.P. Chekhov, M.M. Zoshchenko, O. Henry.

The “Mimigrant” troupe regularly goes on tours around the world and receives theatrical awards, such as “The Golden Clown”. The creative team of the theatre organizes a "Funny Festival" every year on April 1, on the day of laughter and fun. Performances, comedy sketches, flash mobs, meetings with artists and concerts are held at the theater and other venues in St. Petersburg as part of the event.
