“The Baltic House”(“Baltiisky Dom”) in St. Petersburg bears the title of the center for international theatre culture. It appeared in Leningrad in 1936 and has become a place for staging great theatrical works and the home of many famous artists: Oleg Basilashvili, Nina Urgant, Tatiana Doronina and others.

The friendly atmosphere attracts famous Russian directors and theatre schools of different generations to the Baltic House. Besides, international festivals, conferences and master classes are often held in the theatre. The special guests of such events are famous actors, directors, specialists of performing arts. Nowadays, there are six festivals in the repertoire of the Baltic House, which are organized annually and have their regular viewers and guests.
