The Children's Music and Drama Theatre “Aquarium” was opened in 1996 by director Sergei Zavadsky and actress Anna Starobinets. The repertoire of the theatre includes productions based on everyone's favorite fairytales, myths and legends: "The Three Little Pigs", "Cipollino", "Little Red Riding Hood", "The Frog Traveller", etc. Familiar storylines are shown from an unexpected side and resonate with the audience. Fairytale characters, bright costumes and musical performances will remain in the memory of the audience for a long time. Children over the age of three are the target audience. For the youngest theatre visitors the puppet shows are held.

There is a children's drama and music school "HARLEQUIN" at the theatre. For many years the theatre has been actively cooperating with the Centres for people with disabilities.
