The Osobnyak theatre is a very special chamber theatre that is more than 30 years old. The Theatre was founded in 1889. An actor and a director Dmitry Podnozov is the originator of the theatre and its permanent artistic director. There is a free seating in the theatre hall. Various performances are presented to the attention of the audience, including philosophical productions, existential dramas, etc. The theatre is also a platform for film meetings, poetry evenings, acting trainings and master classes. In the Osobnyak theatre everything is very non-standard and unusual: the director, actors, and spectators create and act in such a special atmosphere that encourages them to go beyond the ordinary.

In addition to all of the above, the theatre has a theatre lecture hall, in which people speak about modern theatre in a simple and accessible language. At lectures guests get answers to the questions: what directing is, what a genre is, etc. The Osobnyak theatre doesn’t only entertain its audience, the theatre helps them learn more about theatrical art and makes them fall in love with the theatre.
