The artistic director of the theatre is a musicologist, composer and the honoured Arts worker Irina Brondz. The troupe of the theatre includes graduates of theatrical and musical institutes of the country. In addition to the troupe of actors, the theatre group includes an orchestra, a corps de ballet and a studio for children.

Initially, the children's musical theatre staged productions in the genre of musical. Later, the repertoire of the theatre expanded. One can buy tickets for such performances as "Timur and his Squad", "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "The Road to the Emerald City" on the official web site of the theatre. At present, the theatre building is under reconstruction. Currently, the performances can be seen on the stages of the Lensovet Palace of Culture, Concert Hall near Finland railway station, etc. The theatre tours not only in Russia, but also abroad.
