Initially, the salon was opened in 1988 in Furshtatskaya Street and turned out to be the first private antique store in Leningradat that time. Three years later, it moved to its current location and occupied the premises of its predecessor, the famous thrift store "Three steps up".

 The premium location in the historical centre of the city determined the fate of the gallery, its name and direction of activity. Since 1991, the "Petersburg” gallery sells antique items for household use and unique things that can become part of the collection of even a sophisticated buyer.
