The Saint-Petersburg State "Historical cultural museum complex in Razliv" includes the "Emelianov's Sarai (the Barn)" and "Lenin's Shalash (the Branch Shelter)" museums, both covering the period of Lenin's hiding from the bourgeois Provisional Government. First the attic of proletarian Nicolai Emelianov's shed, then the shelter of branches by the lake, have housed the future leader of the Great October Revolution during the summer of 1917.

The museum "Sarai" recreates the everyday environment in which Lenin spent a few days in July 1917. The Memorial museum "Shelter" includes granite monument, pier, model of the branch shelter with a haystacks, and exhibition hall. Currently, the museum has expanded the field of activity and appealed to the local history topics. The museum annually holds conferences, lectures, museum classes and develops art projects with contemporary artists.
