The exposition of the “Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory” reflects all the stages of development of the first Russian porcelain enterprise that was founded in 1744.

The history of St. Petersburg porcelain goes back two and a half centuries. The collection of the “Museum of the Imperial Porcelain Factory”, which is part of the State Hermitage Museum, is diverse and broadly represents all stages of the development of the first domestic porcelain enterprise. The exhibition presents porcelain from the Imperial and Soviet periods, examples of European and Oriental porcelain, as well as glassware.

Among the exhibits are items from the famous ceremonial sets created by order of the Russian emperors and porcelain pieces from the first years of Soviet regime, which reflected all the new art trends of that time.
