Bronze sculpture of the outstanding Russian composer Nikolai Andreevich Rimsky-Korsakov.

The monument to the composer, conductor, teacher and musical critic N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov was inaugurated in 1952. The monument was installed in the Theatre Square next to the Leningrad Conservatory, which was later named after the great composer. Rimsky-Korsakov worked here as a professor for 40 years.

The height of the bronze sculpture is more than three meters, and together with the majestic pedestal of polished granite, the monument reaches seven meters in height. Sculptors V.Ya. Bogolyubov and V.I. Ingal, who started work on the monument project during the Great Patriotic War, depicted the musician sitting with the score on a bench, as if he was thinking about a new musical piece and mentally conducting his music.

The monument to N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.
