More than half of the collections are rare and unique: unlike ordinary libraries, where they are kept under lock and key, here anyone can study them.

During the excursion, visitors will get acquainted with the history and architectural features of the building, examine the restored interiors, learn about the main areas of the library's activities, its resources, and see a copy of the inaugural copy of the Constitution, on which all presidents of the Russian Federation took the oath.
