For three full days in July, the park on Yelagin Island transforms into a vast open-air theatre
The event programme features musical promenades, vibrant show programmes and avant-garde physical performances, clowning and mime, acrobatics and shows using special effects, travelling plays and immersive productions. During the Festival days, visitors can attend more than 35 performances, including premieres, and become acquainted with troupes from various cities in Russia, China, and other countries. The festival opens with the traditional procession of artists and spectators from the ‘Krestovsky Ostrov’ metro station to the Maslyany lug (meadow) in the Park.
