Leningrad Oblast is among the ten best directions for the nature tourism development

Mikhail Mishustin called the nature tourism a promising direction of the travel industry. Tvil.ru booking service questioned social network users and found out the best nature tourism directions in Russia.

The majority of the tourists – 29.82% – chose Crimea as the most promising direction for the nature tourism development. Krasnodar Krai took the second place gaining 17.54% of the votes. Republic of Karelia took the “Bronze” in the rating of the best ecological tourism directions: it gained 14.04% of the votes.

According to the interrogation results, Russian travelers consider also Altai Krai and Altai Republic (14.04%), Bashkiria (8.77%), Irkutsk Oblast (3.51%), Leningrad Oblast (3.51%), North Caucasus (3.51%) and Stavropol Krai (3.51%) favorable for the nature tourism development. Samara Oblast gained the fewest votes among these ten directions: 1.75% voted for the development of the ecological tourism in this region.
