TikTok, a leading short video creation platform, began cooperation with the Federal Agency for Tourism, the national travel portal Russia Travel and the regions of Russia in July.
The campaign, which lasted over three weeks, included excursions to 27 regions of the country. As a result, more than half a million people watched an excursions online. Also, 26 thousand short videos were created, which gained more than 200 million views. The purpose of the campaign was to support domestic tourism and popularize travel in Russia in the summer.
Anastasia Vorontsova, native of Saint Petersburg, was recognized as the best guide who was able to get more coverage and audience engagement. The iPhone 11 was a special gift from the organizers.
The television spot about the guide-interpreter was aired on August 10th on the «Saint Petersburg» TV channel.
