109 units of military equipment will take part in the Victory Parade on the 24th of June. That is told by Lieutenant-General Igor Seritsky – deputy commander of the Western Military District –, as reported by Gorod+ channel.
The equipment will be presented with the newest models as well as historical ones. Those include tank T-34, infantry fighting vehicles, armoured personnel carriers, surface-to-air missile systems. Furthermore, it will be the first time UAZ Pick-up and LADA Vesta cars of military police will take part in this annual parade.
More than 30 planes and helicopters will fly over in the air. Those include Mi-26 transport aircraft, Mi-8 utility helicopters and Mi-24 attack helicopters.
Moreover, it is noted that more than 4500 Western Military District’s soldiers, regional power departments’ soldiers and military academy students will participate in the parade.
