Staraya Ladoga is reopened for tourists

Representatives of the unique reservation museum announced the resumption of work.

The old Ladoga historical, architectural and archaeological reservation museum has been reopened, and visitors are expected daily from 9.00 to 18.00. However, in order to be allowed on the territory of a cultural object, you must have a mask with you.

Staraya Ladoga has existed as a Museum of local lore since 1971. On the territory of the reservation museum there is an old Ladoga fortress, which was built during the time of the prophetic Oleg at the turn of the IX—X centuries. In addition, there are more than 150 historical and architectural monuments of the VIII–XIX centuries on the territory of the cultural object. There are also several permanent and temporary thematic exhibitions.
