In St. Petersburg plans to reopen walks along rivers and canals

In the near future, inhabitants and guests of the city will be able to ride along the rivers and canals of the Northern capital again, this will become possible after the introduction of the second stage of the cancellation of restrictive measures in the city.

Walks along rivers and canals of St. Petersburg become available again for inhabitants and tourists in the second stage of the cancellation of restrictive measures. TV channel "Saint Petersburg" with reference to the press service of The St. Petersburg State Institution "External Transport Agency" reports that the start of river trips will be possible if shipping companies will be ready.

It is worth noting that after the resumption of passenger navigation, organizations engaged in transportation will have to comply with certain conditions. So, before the start of the working day, shipping companies are advised to interview crew members about their well-being and measure their temperature twice. Also, staff must be provided with masks, gloves, disinfectants, thermometers and disposable tableware.

Another important point - all passengers at the entrance to the board will be measured the temperature, and also masks and gloves will be given to them. Besides, a special post for hand processing will be organized at the ladder.

The Safe Activity Standard for inland water transport was developed by The St. Petersburg State Institution "External Transport Agency" on behalf of the Committee on Transport. It will be sent to shipping companies for execution.
