The St. Petersburg Music House will broadcastthe “Embassy of Musical Mastery ONLINE”concerts. On June 10, at 13.00, an online address of the winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition (2015), pianist MiroslavKultyshev, will start in a series of concerts for Rossotrudnichestvo. In the programme: “Kreisleriana” by Schumann, piano sonataby Liszt and Scriabin’s poem “Vers la flamme”.
On June 12, at 13.00, a festive concertwill be broadcast in celebration of the Russia Day. Masterpieces of Russian classical music will be performed by soloists of the Music House, the laureates of international competitions Alexander Bolotin (piano) and Alexander Bodosov (trombone). The St. Petersburg Music House, led by People's Artist of Russia Sergei Roldugin, invites young soloists, students and all connoisseurs of classical music to the June concerts and master classes “Embassy of Musical Mastery ONLINE”.
Also, throughout the month there will be live broadcasts of master classes on the Music House’sYouTube channel. The shows start at 12.00 (GMT +3).
For the anniversaries of two great composers - the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven and the 180th anniversary of PyotrIlyich Tchaikovsky - the Music House included their most frequently performed works in the repertoire of master classes in order to prepare the programme for international competitions.
On June 1, a series of public online master classes will be opened by the Honoured Artist of Russia, pianist Andrei Diev. By comparing manuscripts, clavier and score, the First piano concert of P.I. Tchaikovsky will be reviewed. The lesson will be devoted to the First part of the composition.
On June 2, Professor Mikhail Gantvarg (violin), a permanent teacher of the Music House programmes, will discuss the basic principles of Mozart’s violin concertson the example of his Violin Concerto No. 5.
On June 3,a laureate of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition (2015), cellist Alexander Ramm will share tips with young soloists on performing the E. Elgar’sCello Concerto.
On June 4, on the example of C. Debussy’s Rhapsody for clarinet, the Music House’s soloist Nikita Lyutikov will tell about the specificities of performingFrench composers’music.
On June 5, the Honoured Artist of Russia, pianist Andrei Diev will continue to reviewthe P.I. Tchaikovsky’s First piano concert of by comparing manuscripts, clavier and score. The lesson will address the Second and the Third parts of the composition.
On June 6, on the example ofclarinet plays by F. Pulenko and S. Vidor, the Music House’s soloist Nikita Lyutikov will continue the narrationon the specificities of performing French composers’ music.
On June 9, the Music House’s artistic director, People’s Artist of Russia Sergey Roldugin will conduct an online master class on performing the solo part in Variations on the Rococotheme for Tchaikovsky’scello concerto.
On June 11, the interpretation and technological issues of performing the Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concertowill be reviewed by Maxim Fedotov, a People's Artist of Russia.
On June 23,a laureate of international competitions Peter Laul (piano) will tell about the issues of the authorial pedal of L. van Beethoven during the analysis of the Piano Sonata No. 21.
On June 24, the pianist Peter Laul will continue to analysepiano works of L. van Beethoven. The master class will be devoted to the Piano Sonata No. 23 "Appassionata".
