Italy plans to reopen borders on June 3

The Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte announced that free movement between Italy and other EU countries would resume on June 3.

On June 3, internal movement within the EU without the obligation to self-isolate will be allowed for those arriving in Italy. «This will help to start restoring the tourist industry», Conte said.

On May 18 any trips within the region of residence are allowed, shops, hairdressers and beauty parlours, cafes, bars, pizza parlours and restaurants reopen.
