The Smolny Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior lead in the list of the most beautiful Orthodox holies in Russia. Cathedrals in St. Petersburg and Moscow scored 21% of the vote.

According to the survey, tourists also like the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra in Sergiev Posad and the Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Kazan Kremlin in Kazan (12% each), the Foros Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Crimea, the Church of the Transfiguration in Kizhi Pogost (Karelia) and the Dormition Cathedral in Vladimir (9% each), the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Rostov-on-Don and the Cathedral of St. Michael the Archangel in Sochi (3% each).
