This was announced on March 11 by the –°hairman of the St. Petersburg Committee for Tourism Development, Evgeny Pankevich, at the award ceremony for the winners of the contest among students of Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design.

In the autumn of 2019, the Academy held a competition for the design of the courtyard of the Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya hotel. Students of different courses in the department of monumental and decorative art participated in it.

The jury, led by Evgeny Pankevich, the –°hairman of the Committee for Tourism Development in St. Petersburg, Anna Kislitsyna, the rector of the Stieglitz Academy, as well as Roderick Smith, the cluster general manager of Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovskaya and Park Inn by Radisson Pulkovo Airport, selected the winner of 24 artworks.

As a result, the first place went to two students: Alexandra Lukonina and Daria Morozova. The girls came up with an idea to decorate the courtyard of the complex historic building with the globe and planes that fly in different directions. Young artists admit that they tried to play the proximity to the airport hotel and the guests' love for travel.
