Northern Capital Gateway
Pulkovo international airport, the gateway to Saint Petersburg, is the third busiest airport in Russia. Airport code LED derives from the city’s previous name – Leningrad.
Since 2010 the airport is managed by Northern Capital Gateway LLC under the private-public partnership agreement.
Since March 2014 single airport terminal is located at Pulkovskoye Shosse, Building 41, lit. ZA, Saint Petersburg.
It is 20 kilometers away from the city center. Bus number 39, 39Ex and minibus number K39 run between the airport and the nearest metro station Moskovskaya.
In 2015 passenger traffic at Pulkovo amounted to 13,499,755 people. The airport served 68 airlines and 151 regular directions.
