Severyanin is a typical St. Petersburg restaurant located in the old center of the city, where quiet lanes run from Sennaya Square (19th century’s largest market place) over the picturesque Griboyedov Canal
It was opened in 2011 and 2 years later was reshaped by Aram Mnatsakanov, famous Hell’s Kitchen Chef and head of Probka group.
The menu is based on classic recipes of the Russian North.
“Some of these dishes are so interesting and tasty that are worth giving up any diet, - says Vladimir Yaroslavsky.
Severyanin’s elegant and warm interior reminds of black-and-white photographs of the 19th century St. Petersburg’s apartments. Our guests often note this atmosphere of the past times. Antique furniture, stylish lighting, white tablecloths, decorative elements such as real lace napkins or an old telephone set, all interior details help this immersion.
