St. Petersburg Entered Top-100 World's Best Cities

Resonance Consultancy, one of the world’s leading consulting agencies in tourism, real estate and economic development, published its ranking of the best cities of the world. St. Petersburg is one of two cities in Russia that are included in the World’s Best Cities 2019.

Ranking was made based on the 6 parameters: quality of natural and urban environment, sights and infrastructure, entrepreneurship development, number of immigrants, art, entertainment and gastronomy development. Besides, reviews and comments of social media users, online rankings and reviews from TripAdvisor, Instagram, Facebook, Google search queries and Google Trends data were analyzed to make the ranking. According to the authors of the ranking, a similar cut helps cities to understand their strengths and weaknesses through the prism of public opinion, formed from the evaluation of people who visit and live in each city.

The top ten of the 2019 ranking is formed from the following cities: London, Paris, New York, Tokyo, Barcelona, Moscow, Chicago, Singapore, Dubai, San Francisco. Tampa (98), Nuremberg (99) and British Bristol (100) close the list. St. Petersburg is on the 54th place of the ranking.  You can find more information about the ranking on the official website.
