According to the press service of the Governor of St. Petersburg, when drawing up a citywide plan, first of all, the wishes of veterans and public organizations were taken into account. In total, the list of events includes more than 130 of them.
The main celebrations will be held on May 8 and 9. This year, 7 military ships of the Baltic Fleet, 107 military equipment, as well as 45 aircraft and helicopters will take part in the Victory Parade; 500 veterans of the Great Patriotic War were invited as guests. In addition, for the first time St. Petersburg will receive Ambassadors of the Victory, who will become the 100 best volunteers from all over Russia.
