10 April 2018

Several Green zones of Petersburg are closed for the time of traditional springtime drying.

Springtime drying is a necessary procedure that applied in order to avoid damage to the soil and macadam cover of garden paths impregnated with moisture after winter season. The decision on spring drying is taken by garden and park specialists after assessing the condition of them after the winter season.

Parks and gardens will be available on May 1. However, they may come to their normal condition within 2-3 weeks, depending on the weather conditions. The gardeners of the city on the Neva use this time for the benefit by painting the garden and park furniture, arranging the urns, and other necessary works.
