Pulkovo Airport will extend its network with Brussels destination on March 30. The Brussels Airlines, Belgium national carrier, the Star Alliance member opens through air service between Brussels and Saint Petersburg. The flights will be performed by comfortable Airbus A319 airliners three days a week – Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays – from both capitals.
Resuming of direct flights between Brussels and Saint Petersburg is a long-awaited event. Brussels is one of the most called-for European destinations. The two capitals haven’t have a through air service since 2007. Thanks to the Pulkovo infrastructure renewal and the passenger flow increase Brussels Airlines adds Saint Petersburg to its network, a cultural top destination which wasn’t connected to a Belgian airport yet.
