The first passports of fans of the 2018 FIFA World Cup were issued

Since December 7, 2017 registration centers and issuance of passports of fans of the 2018 FIFA World Cup have earned in five Russian cities - St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan, Sochi and Kaliningrad.

In St. Petersburg, such center is located on Liteiny Prospekt, 26, in the business center "Preobrazhensky Dvor".

The opening ceremony was attended by Vice-Governor Vladimir Kirillov, Chairman of the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports Pavel Belov and Deputy Head of the Department for Implementation of Strategic Projects of the Ministry of Communications of the Russian Federation Andrei Romankov. Also, the ceremony was attended by People's Artists of Russia Vasily Gerello and Mikhail Boyarsky, who were chosen ambassadors of the World Cup from St. Petersburg.

In addition, during the event, a video link with Moscow was established, from where the participants of the event were greeted by Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Mutko and Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolay Nikiforov.

Recall that the fan's passport is compulsory for all spectators who are going to visit the FIFA World Cup. All its owners will be able to get a number of bonuses aimed at a more comfortable and safe stay of spectators at the stadium and their movement between the city-organizers and in these cities. And for foreign tourists the passport of the fan also provides a visa-free entry to the Russian Federation.
