Projects from St. Petersburg took prizes at Russian Event Awards 2017

On October 28-29 there was the final of the National award in event tourism “Russian Event Awards 2017” in Lipetsk. In all 639 projects and 65 Russian regions participated in the competition. 

The finalists of the “Russian Event Awards 2017” were announced on the results of regional competitions which took place in Kazan (September 30- October 1- Volga and Urals Federal Districts), Irkutsk (October 6-7 – Siberian and Far East Federal Districts) and Vladimir (October 12-13 – Central, North West, North Caucasian and Southern Federal Districts).

The final of the “Russian Event Awards 2017” was in Lipetsk. At the end two projects from St.Petersburg won the top places. In nomination of “The travel and tourism event in sport” the 7th “International Oranienbaum Maritime Festival” got the Grand Prix. And in nomination of “The event for popularization of the event tourism” the International motor festival “St.Petersburg Harley®Days” won the first place.

According to the representative of the “St.Petersburg Harley®Days” Igor Scherbakov  these days the team of the Festival is attending the 4th H.O.G. Bahrain Rally at the invitation of Abdulla Al Khalifa.

To recap, the National award in event tourism “Russian Event Awards” was founded in 2012 to award the best projects for achievements in the development of the industry of event tourism.
