A Unity day on November, 4 Russian people celebrate in Saint Petersburg

01 November 2017

Russia’s Northern Capital topped the list of most popular cities on the upcoming November holidays. The residents of our country prefer visiting Petersburg to having a rest in the South of Russia.

Following our city, the Russians placed the Krasnodarsky Krai and the Crimea in a ranking of preference, according to the Tvil.ru housing booking service.

Vacationers in the City on Neva River spend in November in average 2.7 thousand roubles per day and arrive for 3-4 days.

At this time, Russian people are also attracted to Saint Petersburg by an epic Festival of Lights.

This year it will take place on 4 and 5 November 2017 at Palace square (Dvortsovaya Ploshad) and also at Petrogradskaya embankment (Petrogradskaya naberezhnaya).

The light show will paint with bright lights the Hermitage, the General Staff Building and also a legendary Cruiser “Aurora” – for the first time in the history of Saint Petersburg.

The show will last for 2 days from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
