The exposition of the Museum center is devoted to the Mariinsky school of practical laces
Mariinskaya practical lace school was founded in St. Petersburg in 1883 and lasted for about 35 years.
It was the first professional women's educational institution in Russia for the training of masters-teachers of lace weaving.
The permanent exhibition of the Museum center "Lacy" will tell you about the amazing history of the school and the outstanding people who took part in it. You can learn more about how the organized activities of the school and how it was its further destiny of graduates.
The printed edition, photos, archival documents, samples of ancient laces and modern Lacy products are presented to attention of visitors.
