The exhibition presents the works by Vladimir Ustinsky. Painting, graphics.
Vladimir Ustinsky is one of leading artists in “Temple wall” school, that functions in traditions of Byzantium and Ancient Russian monumental painting and via special technique transfers any, even secular or abstract subject in temple fresco .
Ustinsky’s painting and graphics are defined by light colours and lines, spacious, not overcrowded compositions. He combines aesthetic and philosophical traditions of the school with common Avangard traits: naïve drawing, primitive forms, links to folk and prehistoric art. Ustinsky appeals to subjects of beginning of life, motherhood, love and maturity. Diverse subjects form a monumental picture of human way on Earth, full of happiness and gratitude for every day of life.
