On May 18, 1703 thirty Russian boats under personal command of Peter I seized two large Swedish ships «Astrild» and «Gedan» on the Neva river

This victory forced the Swedish squadron to leave the mouth of Neva. All participants of that fight received special medals «Unbelievable happens». This day is now considered to be a birthday of the Baltic fleet of Russia.
