On May 7, 1906 a Russian poet Alexander Blok wrote the famous poem «Neznakomka» («Stranger»)
The poet was going through a difficult period in life at the time of writing — his wife, Lyudmila Mendeleeva, was having an affair with his friend, another well-known poet Andrei Bely. The poem was inspired by surroundings of a holiday village Ozerki near a railway station. Now this place is a district of St. Petersburg with a metro station of the same name.
