On May 24, 1944 trolleybus traffic in Leningrad resumed after breaking the Siege

Trolleybuses in Leningrad kept running during the first several months of the Siege, despite the bombardment and constant damaging of the cables and roads. Only in December, 8 of 1941 the traffic stopped due to power failures and thick snow. After breaking the Siege the first trolleyubuses, painted red, resumed the route from the Admiralty to Syzranskaya street.
