On April 21, 1970 the race Vyborg — Leningrad finished on the Field of Mars

The race was dedicated to the 100-year anniversary of the birth of Vladimir Lenin. The route went through the places, connected to the Soviet leader's life and work. The winners ran the distance of 190 km 200 m in 16 hours 59 minutes 35 seconds.
