The Saint-Petersburg Contemporary Music Center reMusik.org announces the Sound Space Project, taking place from 18th October to 15th December 2017

The project will be held in distinguished venues around the city, including the New Stage of Alexandrinsky Theatre, Gallery of Design «Bulthaup», Masterskaya M. K. Anikushina, and the St. Petersburg State Conservatory.

The purpose of the project is to support a new generation of composers, highlighting new musical trends in classical contemporary music from France, Switzerland and Russia. The idea of the project is represented by several blocks, each of which is aimed at certain creative and experimental tasks. The concert programs included both already known scenes and new names.

The Sound Space Project offers various musical concepts that facilitate the learning and understanding of a new, unique musical language of numerous dialects created by late 20th century and 21st century composers.

The Sound Space Project is supported by the Government of St. Petersburg, the Institut français, the Embassy of Switzerland in Russia, and the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
