"Virtuosos of Moscow" – the Russian State Chamber Orchestra, most famous in the world, headed from the date of the basis by the outstanding violinist and the conductor Vladimir Spivakov. For many years the orchestra consisting of the first-class soloists is considered a standard of the highest performing culture which is equally shown in music of different genres and styles - from ancient to the latest.
Andres Mustonen is a recognized expert in the field of music of the Middle Ages and baroque, the creator and the head of the famous Hortus Musicus (1972) Ensemble. The artistic director of an annual Tallinn festival of music of baroque, has carried out world premieres of many compositions of Pärt, Kancheli, Gubaidulina, Penderecki, Silvestrov, Knayfel, Tavener and other composers. A. Mustonen acts and as the symphonic conductor, including with the State symphonic orchestra of Estonia.
