Housewarming of a book-store of Alexander Smirdin

On March 2, 1832 a popular Saint Petersburg's publisher and bookseller Alexander Smirdin celebrated moving the store to a new address

Smirdin's new store opened on 22, Nevsky prospect, and he hosted a howsewarming celebration. Among the quests were Alexander Pushkin, Vasily Zhukovsky, Ivan Krylov and Nikolay Gogol. The creative results of this writers' meeting were included in an anthology named «Novoselye» (Howsewarming).
