Concerts from the cycle "Music Thursdays in Stroganov palace" take place in the unique interior keeping original decoration created by F. Rastrelli
Concert will be interesting both to fans of music of baroque, and fans of opera singing. Listeners will be addressed by the honored artist of the Russian Federation, professor of the St. Petersburg conservatory of N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov Boris Vasilyev (baritone), and also winners of the All-Russian and international competitions Svetlana Bystrova (soprano) and Georgy Albanchuk (tenor).
Pieces of A. Vivaldi, J.S. Bach, F. Schubert, G.F. Handel and other famous composers will be heard performed by ensemble of musicians of the State academic Capella of St. Petersburg in the following structure: Inna Cherepanova (flute), Vasilisa Diminenko (violin), Victor Rogatin (viola), Vladimir Choubin (contrabass) and Yaroslav Lenskikh (violoncello).
Conceived for the purpose of chamber recitals tradition revival, the project of the Russian Museum "Musical Thursdays in the Stroganov Palace" exists since 2015 and managed to become popular among Petersburgers. The repertoire is various and isn't limited to classical music: within the walls of еру ancient home of count of Stroganov it is possible to hear now the traditional jazz, swing melodies, Argentina tango and music of other directions.
