From June 4 to July 3 there will be the installation "The Avenue of flying umbrellas" in St. Petersburg again
Residents of St.Petersburg and visitors of the city will see the magic installation with multi-colored, flying umbrellas again, which will start in Solyanoy Lane on June 4.
In 2015 free spaces in the city were decorated by the beautiful art project for the first time and immediately were loved by citizens and tourists. Thousands of photos and posts were published by users under the official hashtag #umbrellaskyspb.
"The avenue of the flying umbrellas" is not only a place for romantic walks, but also a platform for carrying out events. There are concerts planned for every weekend, master classes, flash mobs, creative meetings, quests and charity events.
The flying umbrellas in St.Petersburg will take place exactly one month — till July 3. The entrance on "The Avenue of the flying umbrellas" will be, as well as last year, free.
The idea to decorate streets with umbrellas was embodied in the Portuguese city Agueda for the first time after no European city was interested in this project, and now it was taken over also in St. Petersburg.
The Installation appeared under the initiative team #pnpproject, organizers of memorable city events.
