Mozart and Salieri project. Dedicated to the 260th anniversary of the Mozart’s birth.
On April 22th, 2016, at the Bryullov Hall of the State Russian Museum. whereThe Last Day of Pompeii is exhibited, the music holiday will take place. Especially for this evening the Main entrance of the palace will be open; the audience accompanied by the consultants will get the opportunity to see unique expositions of the principal halls. Refreshments will be provided for the quests, to keep a festive mood; refreshment bar will be open during the concert.
The most important event of the evening is a concert, with participation of the famous flutist from Vatican Monica Moroni, Honoured Artists of the Russian Federation Maria Safariants (violin) and Sergei Slovachevsky (cello), Prize-Winner at the international competitions Alexei Golovin (oboe), young gifted harpist Alisa Sadikova and Taurida International Symphony Orchestra under the baton of the brilliant Austrian conductor Gunter Neuhold, who was invited especially from Wien to embody true spirit of Mozart, Austrian composer of genius.
Russian premiere of the Salieri’s Concerto for violin, oboe and cello with orchestra will be held this evening. The score was presented by the famousInternationale Musikverlage Hans Sikorski (Germany). The program also includes Salieri’s Sinfonia Veneziana, as well as works of Mozart, his eternalmusic opponent - Concerto for Flute and Harp with orchestra, Flute concerto in G Major and Symphony No.29.
